In Steep you have your choice of slightly obnoxious characters, but each seems to have their own charm. You’re presented with a pretty massive open world full of mountains, trees, snow, and… that’s basically it. It’s pretty much a sandbox for you to explore in a very TOTALLY EXTREME fashion.
In my opinion, all of the different mechanics in this game work incredibly. You feel pretty in-control, while at the same time always trying to maintain control using the brakes and choosing what path you should take.
Obviously, you can jump and do crazy flips and grabs.
Like, man. Just look at that. Thanks https://www.reddit.com/user/Jordan180 for the INSAAAAANE FLIPS DUDE.
There isn’t really much to say about Steep. The voice acting kind of makes me chuckle sometimes just because of how corny/energetic they are, and there’s kind of a story, but it’s mostly about trying to conquer every crevice with attempt after attempt trying to make the perfect line.
It’s incredibly difficult at times. It can be frustrating if you think you’d been doing alright then you hit a hard challenge and attempt it for an hour strait and still fail. There may be some things you just won’t be able to do.
Buuuuut… If you’re insane like me and like to try things repeatedly until I they’re just right, this game is perfect for that. There are more relaxed courses, but the hard ones can really occupy your time if you’re patient/nuts.
I give steep a 7/10. Solid gameplay.
Yell at me on social media:
Oh woah it does a cool twitter thing for me. Yay. One Punch man dub isn’t actually on Netflix 😦
